Antony Muiyuro

Anthony is highly entrepreneurial and effective in building and maintaining senior client and stakeholder relationships with a proven track record of delivering and managing digital & Cyber transformation projects with positive outcomes.

He has experience shaping National ICT policies and regulations and I have contributed to the development of the National Cybersecurity Strategy. He has deep knowledge and understanding of the African ICT landscape with a special focus on eGovernment. Anthony is a regular speaker and thought leader at various Industry and Multi-sectoral conferences and seminars on matters of Digital Transformation, Digital Economy, Emerging Technologies & Cybersecurity.

As an advisor, he guides organizations to drive growth and strategic renewal by helping them transform their traditional businesses into digital ones whilst managing the risks and embracing privacy/security by design principles. As a digital evangelist, he has a special focus on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.

He is well versed in building and maintaining public-private partnerships with external organizations, including industry information-sharing centers, regulators, professional associations, law enforcement, government agencies, trade associations, academia, and think tanks.

Dr. Bright Gameli Mawudor

Dr. Bright Gameli Mawudor is a trailblazing Cyber Security Engineering Lead at MARA, Africa’s vanguard in Web3 & Blockchain technology. With a strong commitment to shaping Africa’s CyberSecurity landscape, he is the visionary founder of Africahackon, a Cyber Security collective dedicated to nurturing excellence through capacity building and fostering a vibrant community of experts across the continent.

A world-class academic, Dr. Bright earned his PhD in IT Convergence and Application Engineering with a specialization in Information Security from Pukyong National University, South Korea. His outstanding professionalism has earned him prestigious positions on Advisory Boards, including EC-Council Global Advisory Board Member for CTIA, Cybersafe Foundation, Moringa School, and AfCAA – the African council for accreditation and accountability.

With over a decade of experience in the Cyber Security industry, Dr. Mawudor possesses profound expertise in Cyber Security Strategy, Resilience, and system penetration testing. A seasoned speaker, he has captivated audiences at more than 260 Cyber Security conferences, and his wisdom has been shared with students at various universities and through contributions to prominent Cyber Security publications.

Recognition has been no stranger to him, as he was honored by Tribe of Hackers: Blue Team 2020 and acknowledged among the Top 40 Under 40 young entrepreneurs in Kenya for his exceptional achievements.

Having worked with esteemed organizations such as Dimension Data/NTT, Cellulant, and Ushahidi, Dr. Mawudor has conducted numerous evaluations and selections of Cyber Security tools, successfully implementing cutting-edge IT security systems to safeguard critical business environments and mitigate risks.

A technically skilled expert, especially within the Cyber Security space, Dr. Bright is dedicated, collaborative, and exhibits excellent leadership qualities. His indomitable spirit drives him to shape a more secure digital future for Africa and beyond.

George Njuguna

George Njuguna is the Director, Information Technology (CIO) of Safaricom PLC. Prior to joining Safaricom, he worked at HF Group as the Chief Operating Officer. Before this, he worked at Commercial Bank of Africa as the Head of Information Technology. He has more than 22 years experience in IT, and 16 years experience in Banking and Financial Services, specifically in technology, operations, product development, project management, channel management, digital transformation and large-scale implementations.

Tracy Mwangi

An entrepreneur passionate about the growth of Africa and the possibilities that can arise. Currently diving into the field of innovation as part of the great team at Zynamis Limited. Bringing on-board insights through business development management with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Strong sales professional skilled in Business Development, Business Strategy, Business Analysis, Leadership, and Social Media. As a coach, I aim to motivate and change the mindset of upcoming entrepreneurs, through pitch coaching and mentorship sessions providing them an in-depth look at the world of tech and entrepreneurship and grooming through complimentary support structures at Zynamis Limited.

Stella Waithera

Stella Waithera is a digital skills trainer who is intentional about bridging the skills and gender gap in STEM in the African youth. She currently trains Data Science and Software Development at Moringa school and is the founder of AfricanTechGirl Organization a non-profit that instills STEM skills to individuals aged 7 – 17 years.

Jamie Loden

Jamie Loden is an executive leader with broad international experience gained in established and emerging markets, across both commercial and non-commercial settings. Jamie is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Diamond Trust Bank. Prior to that, he had a 15-year career in the British Army, after which he spent 11 years with Barclays where he fulfilled a variety of roles, from COO of a subsidiary to a regional operations head across 12 countries. He has wide expertise in operations and technology management including digital transformation, change delivery, customer service, governance, risk and control, and regulatory engagement. Jamie has three Master’s degrees and a Bachelor’s degree from Cranfield, King’s College London and Exeter Universities. He is also a trustee on the Board of Lupus UK, the UK national registered charity for people living with Lupus.

Dr. Michael W. Kimwele

Dr. Michael W. Kimwele is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing within the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in Kenya. He holds a BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science-First Class Honours from JKUAT, a Masters in Information Technology Management from University of Sunderland UK and a Doctorate in Information Technology from JKUAT.

Currently, he is the Director-School of Computing and Information Technology at JKUAT. Dr. Kimwele has authored a commendable number of research papers in international/national conference/journals and also supervises postgraduate students in Computer Science/Information Technology. His main research interests are in Software Engineering, Computer Security and Social Computing. He is the Deputy Management Representative (DMR) for the College of Pure and Applied Sciences (COPAS) at JKUAT; a responsibility that ensures that management systems processes conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Dr. Kimwele serves as Head Judge: Technology Category- Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) https://ysk.co.ke/ This is a unique initiative that gives young people from across Kenya an opportunity to demonstrate innovation and showcase their scientific talents through a National Science and Technology competition.

Snehar Shah

Snehar Shah, CFA brings over 25 years of diverse experience in building and running businesses in multiple industries and geographies to Moringa School to scale it to the next level. Snehar holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, London and Financial Qualifications in Chartered Accountancy from PwC and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) while doing Equity Research at HSBC Investment Bank. Snehar spent 12 years at Orange/France Telecom in various roles in Strategy, Finance and Innovation in UK, Europe and in Kenya where he was Deputy CFO and launched the Orange Money business in partnership with Equity Bank.

Snehar then joined as the start-up CFO of Eaton Towers in Kenya and Uganda with the acquisition of 3,000+ telecom towers from Airtel, Orange, Warid financed by more than $500m of Equity and Debt. Having built this profitable business with predictable long term cash flows, the business was then sold to American Tower for $1.85bn.

Snehar has been the Africa MD of Azuri Technologies, a Pay-As-You-Go solar company which he built over the past 5 years to power more than 250,000 households across 5 countries in Africa, employing more than 3,000 resources and funded by Equity investors (IP Group Plc and Marubeni Corporation of Japan) as well as Off Balance sheet debt providers including DFI’s such as the European Commission.

Snehar is excited to join Moringa School to build on the foundations over the past 7 years to drive the Series A fundraise, scale up the business beyond Kenya across the continent and advance the mission of building talent and opportunities through transformative, tech-based learning experiences by building the optimal ecosystem with like-minded partners.

Snehar has served on various board positions as Chair of Telposta Pension scheme, Vice Chair of the Oshwal Academies and Board Member of the Kenya Renewable Energy Association. He currently serves on the ExCo as Communications Officer of the Young Presidents Organisation and is a Mentor on the Endeavor Network and has been recognised as the “Top 40 Under 40” by Business Daily Africa

She is a seasoned Business Leader with over 15 years of experience, 11 of which has been in the tech industry. Priscilla is currently working for Mydawa, the leading e-pharmacy in Kenya. Prior to that, she worked at Glovo, Sendy and OLX. She has a wealth of knowledge in tech business growth hacking, route to market strategy development, and business modeling. Additionally, she has over 3 years of experience in general management, where she has established, inspired, motivated, and driven the performance of a team of highly skilled professionals. She has a keen interest in leveraging technology and innovation to solve African problems and constantly challenging the status quo to identify ways of creating value that can be monetized. She is also a proud mother of a 14-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy

She is currently a mentor at the Google for Start ups project as well as IBIZ, an accelerator program run by the Strathmore Business School. She proactively seek opportunities to leverage on her experience and knowledge with the aim of positively impacting tech-based businesses.

David Ndegwa

David is an investment professional with 5 years of venture capital experience in Africa. He is currently involved in the entire investment process and equally provides post investment support to the portfolio companies in the form of strategy calls, technical support and even fundraising support. He previously worked at Ernst & Young LLP as an audit assistant where he specialized in the audit of Not-For-Profit Organizations before joining AAIC.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce specializing in Finance and Accounting from Strathmore University.
